What it is

A small-group, cosy ceramics session at STUDIO PICO. I’ll show you the hand-building techniques I love to work with and guide you step by step as you create your piece(s).

No experience needed — just bring yourself and a spark of curiosity.

What you’ll make

Choose to make one larger piece or a few smaller pieces depending on your pace. I’ll help you pick something satisfying and doable in the time.

  • decorative tiles or sculptural pieces

Learn the basics of hand-building and make the object(s) of your choice. You’ll leave your piece with me and I’ll glaze it for you.

Collection: ready to collect in around 2 weeks.

2 Sessions

Make + paint/glaze it yourself

£70 total2 × 1.5 hoursMax 4 people

Come back one week later to paint and glaze your piece(s), adding your own colour and finish.

  • Session 1: hand-build your piece(s)
  • Session 2 (1 week later): paint and glaze your work
