1. Overview

All pieces are handmade in small batches by Lili Toth Studio. As a solo ceramic studio, we carefully pack and dispatch each order personally to ensure it arrives safely.

Shipping times may vary slightly during busy periods, collection launches, or seasonal demand. We appreciate your patience and support of small independent making.


2. Processing Times

Ready-to-Ship Items

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding UK bank holidays).

You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Made-to-Order Items

Made-to-order and custom pieces require production time. Please allow approximately:

  • 2–3 weeks for handmade production

  • Additional shipping time once dispatched

Estimated lead times will be stated on the product page where applicable.

If you require an item by a specific date, please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to accommodate where possible.


3. UK Shipping

We ship within the United Kingdom using tracked services.

Delivery typically takes:

  • 1–3 working days after dispatch (depending on the service used)

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order size and weight.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We cannot be responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect address details provided by the customer.


4. International Shipping

We ship internationally to selected destinations.

Delivery times vary by country and may take 5–21 working days depending on location and customs processing.

Customs & Import Duties

International customers are responsible for:

  • Import duties

  • Customs fees

  • Local taxes

These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and must be paid by the recipient. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs.

If an international order is refused and returned to us, original shipping costs will not be refunded.


5. Packaging

Ceramics are fragile and are carefully wrapped using protective, plastic-free or recyclable materials wherever possible.

Each parcel is securely packaged to minimise the risk of damage during transit.


6. Delivery Issues

Delayed Parcels

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery times are the responsibility of the courier. If your parcel is delayed, please contact us and we will assist in tracking the shipment.

Lost Parcels

A parcel will be considered lost only after the courier’s investigation period has passed. We will work with the courier to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.


7. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery at:

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs of the item

  • Photographs of the packaging

We will assess the damage and arrange a replacement, remake, or refund where appropriate. Please do not dispose of the packaging until the issue has been resolved.


8. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery

If a parcel is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address details

  • Failure to collect

  • Refusal of delivery

We will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional shipping charges may apply.


9. Studio Collection (If Offered)

If local studio collection is available, you will receive an email when your order is ready. Collection is by appointment only.


10. Liability

Once an order has been marked as delivered by the courier to the address provided, we cannot accept responsibility for loss due to theft or safe-place delivery instructions.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
